That goes for customers and colleagues alike. At home in Veldwezelt I enjoy life with my husband, our children and our lively menagerie of pets. And when I have some time to spare? You'll find me in the kitchen, cooking or baking. My colleagues are always happy to share in the results."

Prefers to focus on what is possible.
Known for his clear communication and straightforward way of working.
"I like to think along with clients, look for solutions and use my experience to reach a good result together. Outside work I seek out challenges too, as a big fan of roller coasters, for one. To balance all that adrenaline, there's a regular game of darts with friends, which I love. And I'm passionate about travel: I enjoy discovering new places, getting to know other cultures and even picking up a few words of a new language."
Kris Heggen
Senior Software Developer
Has been building the technology behind Desk Services since 2014. Responsible for our Promotool and for the internal systems his colleagues rely on every day.
"I work full stack, with PHP as my main foundation. What I enjoy most is building new features, especially with an eye on the long term. How do we make sure that in a few years' time the software still does exactly what it was designed to do, without a hitch? Outside working hours my world looks very different. That's when I swap code for looking after horses and foals."

Financial Administration
Looks after the financial administration day in, day out. Because she works in a structured way, stays on top of everything and keeps digging for a solution when something doesn't add up straight away.
"When the books balance, I'm happy. At the same time, I really enjoy how much there is to learn at Desk Services. No two days are the same. Outside work I like to seek out some peace and quiet, walking through the Heuvelland hills or simply pottering in the garden. I'm very proud of my bonsai trees, which I put a lot of time into."
Peggy Kuijpers
Operational Project Manager
After 32 years at Desk Services, knows exactly what we're good at and what clients need. Still enjoys working on great promotions every single day.
"Despite all my years with this company, the work is still interesting every day. As operational project manager, I work with my colleagues to make sure promotions are not only well designed but also run smoothly. I like to focus on the practical details. Once the laptop is closed, I mostly enjoy the long days of spring and summer, outdoors or on a sunny terrace. In the darker months, I go a little further from home to find my energy."
Anja Merx
Data Quality Officer
Has worked at Desk Services since 1998 and has held a variety of roles across the organisation. Now makes sure that details, data and quality come together naturally.
"Through those different roles I've come to know our company, and the challenges and needs of our clients, very well. So I know exactly what it takes to bring data quality to the highest level. After work, thankfully, things can be a little less precise. Then I'm happy at home with my cat, or out cycling or walking. And if there's a Formula 1 race on? I'll certainly catch that too."

Consumer Care Center
Has been answering participants' questions for 15 years. An excellent listener who quickly understands what a participant wants (to know) and then makes sure they can move on.
"The human contact is what makes this work so enjoyable for me. That said, I'm also looking ahead, for example at the ways AI can help us. That's how I try to make our service from the Consumer Care Center even smarter and better. In my free time I look for the opposite: relaxation. Fun days out, walks in nature or simply time in the garden. Clearing my head, and then carrying on with fresh energy."
Gert Wildvank
Owner
Has been building the next chapter for Desk Services together with the team since 2024. Has his sights set on Europe, because market leadership in the Benelux has left us wanting more.
"I took over an organisation that former owner Ruud Kreuwels had built around a wealth of knowledge and experience. That's why the team matters so much here. Without their commitment and the support of my partner, I certainly couldn't pull it off, and I'm aware of that every single day. I live in Houten myself and happily make the drive to Maastricht twice a week. On Saturdays you'll find me at the home and away matches of football club SV Houten 1."
Martijn Winten
Chief Information Security Officer & IT Manager
Takes security as his starting point. Responsible for information security and for the day-to-day IT organisation behind our software and the management of client data.
"I believe far more in safety by design than in after-the-fact checks alone. So I'm constantly switching between strategy and practice: from policy and risk assessments to sitting down with our developers to make sure the technical set-up is as sound as it can be. Our clients entrust us with their data and their customers' data. That trust has to be earned again every day. Outside work I love getting out and about with my wife and our two children. Austria is our favourite, especially anywhere we can do some serious hiking."
